The hotel is fine if you’re needing a place to sleep but don’t expect anything glamorous. It’s old & dated and feels somewhat “institutional.” My room had a horrific cleaning smell to it - almost like they used it to mask odour. It kept me up throughout the night as well because it’s all I could smell. Very overpowering. I can’t imagine how anyone with allergies would react to this. The walls are paper thin as well. You can hear people using the washroom! They do have a nice breakfast buffet though, which I appreciated. However, I can’t stay here ever again. It’s just too yucky.

There were hair on the bed. Which is unacceptable if the rooms are cleaned properly there shouldn’t be ladies hair on the bed.

Hotel is under full construction. Concrete hammer drilling goes all day until 6pm. Staff don’t care. I called the front desk about it and they said that it was mentioned on their website. There was mention of it whatsoever. There’s dirty boot prints tracked from the construction area through the lobby and out the front door. Construction workers use the front entrance as a smoke pit. Business centre and restaurant are treated to non stop concrete drilling all day. All hotel amenities are closed. My bill for a one night stay - $300. Zero offer of any discount. Just ridiculous. The security guard thinks he’s trying out for a gangster movie. Wears sunglasses inside, dressed in black, sitting in a chair with his legs sprawled out, mean mugging guests. Couldn’t believe this was a Hilton Hotel. Felt like Compton. AVOID. Go half a block down the street to the Holiday Inn.
